In 2016, sportswriter Mina Kimes and animator Mickey Duzyj traveled to South Korea to investigate the mysterious origins of the batflip- a celebratory gesture perfected by baseball players in the Korean Baseball League.

The resulting article featured animations of some of South Korea’s most iconic batflips.
